60 years of history in the World GP

It was in 1961 when the company participated in its first international road race at the French Grand Prix. Now, to celebrate 60 years of racing success, Yamaha has created the special design of the R3 GP 60 Aniversario with a white and red color scheme, the house’s historic racing colours, to pay tribute to the machines that have harvested more than 500 victories in World Grand Prix between 1961 and 2021.

The white bodywork of the R3 GP 60 Aniversario features the iconic red Speedblock graphic design made famous by Yamaha’s legendary race bikes decades earlier. A red front fender and red tank stripe reinforce the GP aesthetic, while the historic racing styling is completed with gold rims, a gold tank logo and a yellow race number.
